This hardy perennial is semi-evergreen and woody, a twining climber with thin, wiry stems that are covered with small, round leaves. Flowers are tiny, green-white stars and are produced in late summer.
Fast growing, and if given the support of a topiary frame in any shape or design, it forms a mass of intertwining stems that can be positioned and trimmed to fill out the topiary shape, creating a living and easy to care for, whimsical house or patio plant. As an indoor topiary, place in a sunny location. Trim topiary to retain shape, and water regularly.
